Literature Text

Sex for cigarettes
And forgotten regrets
The voices in my head
Saying don't look back

Overturning furniture
And smashing glass
Trying to get past
What only I can see

Voices yelling
Day and night
Even when I try
With all my might
To get rid of them

Missing moments
Missing kids
Missing me

A forgotten mother of a forgotten daughter

An illness that won't go away
"Because the more you pray
The less you get"

This is nothing to fear
And I can't help crying
"You're used to dying when you get old"
I don't really write anymore, this is from a few years ago but I figure I should share it
